The dining room runs along the ground floor behind a glass front, with wooden tables, a brick wall and a fireplace at one end. It is a room built for sitting down rather than passing through: tables are spaced for four to six, there is no shared bench seating, and the glass opens the whole length of it onto the terrace, so a table inside on a warm evening is not a table cut off from the outside. Service works from the same floor as the bar, which means a long dinner does not end when the kitchen slows down.
The range is wider than a steakhouse and narrower than a hotel buffet. Original-cut steaks from Australian Black-Angus and Wagyu, ribs cooked slowly enough to leave the bone, a charcoal grill that also handles lamb, salmon and a whole chicken. Then a second kitchen inside the first: thin-crust pizza, pasta made to order, schnitzel and cordon bleu, a Mexican corner with birria tacos and quesadillas, and Indian-style masala for the table that does not want European food twice in a week. Vegetarian is not an afterthought — the pizza, the pasta and the mains each carry a version.
For two, a starter and two mains is the usual shape, and the chef's ribs come in a plate size that suits one person. For four or more the platters do the work: the BBQ platter carries steak, ribs, wings and sausages on one board, the sausage platter and the snack platter cover a table that wants to keep talking rather than concentrate on cutting. The ribs also come in an 800g sharing size with three sides chosen at the table. Burgers can be made without the bun, in lettuce, for anyone eating keto. Steaks arrive with one sauce and one side included, chosen rather than assigned.
